Experiences

Serafina is perfect for proposals, anniversaries, sightseeing on the Puget Sound, sailing enthusiasts who want to experience a high-performance yacht (including even participating in a regatta), or just an incredible day out on the water with family or friends! We are happy to work directly with you, or with your event planner if you have one. See some of our example itineraries below.

Surprise Proposal – One of our specialties, we are experts and helping you prepare and execute the perfect surprise proposal. The brand new luxury yacht and stunning natural surroundings make for the ideal, picturesque photos to share with your family and friends, and cherish forever. Our crew are experienced in helping time the exact right moment to pop the question, and will stand by with champagne in hand (out of sight). We can even help take photos so you’re sure to have every angle covered. We typically need no less than 3 hours, and recommend 4, so that there is ample time to enjoy the moment without rushing. Sunset Sail – Enjoy a peaceful, unobstructed view of a Puget Sound sunset aboard your own private yacht. We’ll hoist the sails three hours before sunset and return to the dock 30 minutes after, for a total of 3.5 hours on the water. The yacht is yours. Bring your significant other, family, or friends and relax as we sail in the calm waters surrounding Seattle. Mount Rainier really light up when the sun starts to go down – a view best seen from the water. This is a great option for romantic proposals, ash scatterings, or an opportunity to enjoy time on the water. Rates and booking →

Island Meal – Sail to a nearby island and anchor in a secluded cove to enjoy lunch, dinner, or hor d’oeuvres (food and drinks provided by you and served by our crew). See soaring Bald Eagles, porpoises, harbor seals, and other native wildlife in the serene sanctuary. If we’re lucky, we may also see a pod of elusive Orcas. During August, you can jump into the water to cool down off of our built-in swim platform. Views of downtown Seattle and Mount Rainier frame picture-perfect moments. This is a great option for proposals, anniversaries, corporate team building, and enjoying the water with friends. Sailing destinations →

Day Sail – For those who wish to spend the most time under sail and perhaps even take control of the helm, we recommend the Day Sail option for 4-5 hours. Using the prevailing winds as our guide, we may sail north toward Whidbey Island or South toward Gig Harbor. Remember, the yacht is yours, and if you have a particular destination in mind, we will make sure that happens exactly as you wish. Rates and booking →

Seaside Town Destination – For those who may like to disembark and enjoy dining or shopping in a quaint Scandanavian town, we recommend a full-day or overnight sail to Poulsbo. We will set sail across the Puget Sound, cutting behind Bainbridge Island as we then sail north through Rich Passage and into Liberty Bay. We will dock at the downtown marina, allowing your party to come and go from the boat as you please. At approximately 2-3 hours at a leisurely sailing pace, the total trip time is typically 7-8 hours including the time in town. We recommend starting the day in the late morning and enjoying lunch while we are underway. Destination details →

What to Expect with a Day Sail

This is just one example itinerary; we are happy to customize the charter to your wishes.

We will greet you at the boat with hors d’oeuvre and sparkling water while we go over a short safety briefing.

Once you are situated we will leave the dock and sail across beautiful Puget Sound, where you will catch unbelievable views of the Seattle city skyline on our way to Blakely Harbor, an inlet on Bainbridge Island. The sail itself takes about an hour each way. You will be welcome to participate in the actual sailing as much as you’d like!

We will anchor here in the protected cove and have dinner on the boat, allowing you to relax and take in the views. There will be enough time to take a brief swim or kayak if you’d like. After around 2 hours we will head back to Seattle.

Before ending the day we’ll enjoy a champagne toast, to you – our new friends!
